Hello Grad Study!
This is our first week getting into the Come and See portion. Make sure you make contact with your Faith Friend at least once this week. And of course, there's always the daily reading...
Has anyone experienced listening to right (or wrong) voices this week?

Good news! We will have our own bin in the etc., if people want to bring a mug or cup to reuse week-to-week!
Hi all,
I write to mention the following two resources that you may find useful in your spiritual journey.
First, the show Speaking of Faith, an American Public Radio show, last week re-broadcast an episode on Stress and Balance you might find interesting. The show and especially its companion web site as a whole reflect a thoughtful approach to faith from a variety of perspectives in a conversational format.

Second, there is a labyrinth in Crystal Lake Park in Urbana. It can be a useful tool for contemplation. There is also one available at the church (you could probably arrange with a peer minister or Rob or someone with a key to access the PM office to use the labyrinth in the great hall or some quiet place in the church). I mention the one at the park since the weather is pleasant right now (barring rain) and the one in the PM office for the near future when the weather turns not so pleasant.
Peace,
Anthony
Please feel free to try either labyrinth one your own, and we will probably do one as a group in the second half of the study. I was going to suggest it when we got to the planning meeting, but you may want to do the one in the park now as Anthony suggested for weather reasons. The one in the PM office is new--we just painted it this summer. :-)

Hey all, a family friend just passed away and this is a note from his daughter. This guy and my dad were good friends and my mom got his wife started in the ministry. I was a flower girl at their wedding and my sister is friends with their daughter. We've been praying for them for months but it's still hard to accept. So please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
They will definitely be in my prayers, and your family as well.
